Parsons New York

Parsons New York is part of The New School. In New York City. Parsons lies in one of the most well known fashion capitals of the world. Parsons has many different design courses, however the first course I decided to attended was a summer intensive course on Fashion Sketching. During this two week course, we were tasked with conceiving a full collection idea and than choose one final look and develop a garment.

My collection was inspired by dark magazine clippings I found and the New York subways. My Parsons New York exhibition was a full design process from start to finish. The collection includes an essay about our fashion style, a picture mood board, thirty draft sketches, six swatches from Mood, eight final sketches, a garment and a final collection.
