IB Art HL is an International Baccalaureate Higher Level course taken in the Diploma program. This 2 year course in an interdisciplinary course where a student has to complete 18 pieces, of any medium, under 1 central theme.

My IB Exhibition was a series of 18 pieces made from Fall of 2013 to Spring of 2015. The main idea was Idioms. Each piece was inspired by a specific idiom. I used the idiom's words and meaning and interpreted it creating unique pieces. For example: The Leopard Can't Change It's Spots. Many of the pieces are also inspired by well known artists such as Keith Haring, Cy Twombly and Paul Cezanne. This exhibition includes painting, clothing, sculptures, drawings and photographs.
